Publicity Blurb: A twisted new comedy about faith, sex and social climbing
Proposal Blurb: Jacob's ladder is a very dark and slightly twisted comedy about using what you've got to get where you want to be. Does the end justify the means? depends on the means I guess. and the end. It's a play about religious politics, social position and sexual immorality and will contain religious immorality, social politics and sexual positions. Follow a group of the sexually repressed and religiously confused as their social climb escalates to a deadly level.
The set will be small and easy to move, consisting simply of a small garden shed on stage. There will be a considerable amount of exciting light and sound, possibly including original music written just for us (yeah, you heard me). Aside form the gang on the form we have an amazing and experienced team and we are all very excited!
