Proposal Blurb: ‘Gorilla radio’ kicks off after a previously semi-legal DJ airs his first show with a major radio network. This gains him a respectable audience and the praise of his prickly new boss.
This is the happiest he will be for the rest of show.
A smorgasbord of unsavoury characters descends upon his fledgling show to use as a platform for their own ambitions. Who is this fresh-faced DJ to resist them?
The ensuing orgy of selling out lands him with an impossible co-host, stomach-turning product placements and a growing list of troubles. He may just end up doing something drastic.
Comedy! The story delves into serious compromises, pressures from irate listeners and an implausible bro-mance to make for an aggressively entertaining 60 minutes.
Innovation is the name of the game for our guerrilla [pun] marketing campaign, detailed tech involvement (cameo callers!) and tricks and turns using the radio show format.
