Proposal Blurb: Dealers's choice is a three act black comedy circling around a restaurant which houses a tight-nit community of colleagues and poker players. Stephen owns and runs the establishment while also managing his three main members of staff as well as his son Carl. His trust in his son has however been undermined by Carl's gambling problems, which have prompted him into inviting Ash - to whom he owes significant amounts of money - to the restaurant's weekly poker game. Dealer's Choice deals with the murky underworld of unlicensed card games as well as the difficulties of father/son relationships - be they genuine or circumstantial.
